We’re happy to see our American friends again!

BYU from Provo, Utah was the first non-European group ever in our festival. Since then they have returned to Schoten a few times, but this year will be extra special.

Time and time again this group conquers the hearts of the audience. Both through upbeat dances, as through beautiful songs they manage to touch a soft spot. From the classic  ‘Riverdance’ till the ‘Irish hard shoe’ and the ‘American clogging’, this group can do it all. The dancers bring each different style on the stage. Let’s get carried away to all corners of the United States of America.

Maar wat zou een dansgroep zonder muziek zijn? De live band Mountain Strings zorgt voor die extra dimensie tijdens de voorstellingen. Zij begeleiden de dansers van trage slows naar pittige tapdansen. Ook ingetogen muzikale intermezzo’s schuwen zij niet.
