Gero Axular Dantza Taldea
In 2004 some parents of the ikastola (Basque school) Axular Lizeoa from San Sebastian created “Gero Axular Dantza Taldea”. The aim was to make evolve Basque traditional dance. We keep our traditions, but we think that it is not enough. We need to show them, elaborate and “dress” them with the possibilities that music gives us and “paint” them with light effects. Because of it, we have the mythology of our country: “Sasi Artean”, “Lamien Basoa”, “Talaia” “Xereta” “Argizaiola” “Itzal Galdua” “Argizaiola” and “Agorrilla”.
